Man Charged in Raleigh Fire That Killed Family Dog


RALEIGH — A man was arrested in connection with a fire that killed a family's dog Friday night. Oscar Spearman, 51, is charged with second-degree arson and cruelty to animals. Police said the fire started at about 8 p.m. on Beverly Drive in Raleigh.
