Which bike should I get: Raleigh Venture, Cannondale Quick6 or Fuji Absolute 4.0?
I went to the local bike shops near me and these are in my price range. I want to ride it mostly in parks, use it for errands near my home and take it on the rare/occasional long-distance ride through NYC (bridges & streets). I will have to carry it up one flight of stairs for storage. The Venture (not 3.0 or 4.0, just Venture) is cheapest and best looking. The Cannondale is the lightest. The Fuji just falls in the middle but I'm not too crazy about it. I am a total bike n00b and would appreciate any insight.

All three are nice bikes, I would ride them before deciding. The Raleigh has a more upright ridding position.

I'm a Cannondale fan. After riding both Raleigh and Cannondale bikes, the Cannondale seems to hold up better (handmade in America). But go test ride them. Most bike shops let you do that. Then get whatever feels best and fits your budget! Good luck!

Unfortunately this cannondale frame is made in Taiwan- not here in the US anymore. Any of the three is fine with me just test ride those that you can and get the best fit for the best price.
