Plane Tickets: Labor Day Weekend: Raleigh to Philadelphia- When to buy at best price?
So, I am planning a trip to Philadelphia over labor day weekend, Fri Aug 29 after 7pm thru Mon, Sept 1- I am not sure when to buy my plane tickets, I dont know if I should hold out for a sale, but there is only one direct flight out of RDU after 7pm to PHL, so I do not want the flight to sell out. When should I buy them? Now or wait a few weeks? I want to get the best price possible, but do not want the flight to book before I can get seats. Any throughts?

It be best to buy the tickets now as you can lock onto the price. Now if there is a sale that goes on within the next month or 2 (depending on the airline), you can call up that specific airline and say that you bought the ticket on this and that day for this and that price and now the price have went down, can I receive a credit based on the fare adjustment? This credit can be applied for baggage or for future travel within the next year among other things.
