how long would this flight be?
I'm taking a plane from O'hare to the airport in Raleigh, North Carolina. How long is it gonna take to fly there... in hours.. please help! yeahh, o'hare in chicago!

I had a direct flight and it took about 2 and 1/2 hrs but it epends on size of plane etc too... I was on a beechcraft 1900

i don't know, but you can check out the website of the airline you are flying, and i am sure it will tell you!

The O'hare in Chicago? Only a few hours cause it takes about 14 hours to drive there.

It is usually 2:00 Hours. I usually fly with American Airlines, and it is between 1 hour 55 minutes, and other days about 2 hours 4 minutes

It depends on taxi in and out time to the gate, but looking at American Airlines flights, it is from 1 hour 55 minutes, to 2 hours. Their is a one hour time zone difference, so it looks like 3 hours total, (you lose one hour going because you switch from central standard time to eastern standard time, so your clock gets put one hour forward). Enjoy your trip!

Travelocity .........About 2 hours give or take 15 min. on a non stop flight. I use Travelocity to check and book all my flights.

my father is a pilot and he says about 2 1/2 to 3 at most.

Most of the scheduled flights take just under 2 hours from gate to gate. However, the actual flying time in the trip is much less as the transit times include time for taxi out, taxi in upon landing and traditional ATC delays for volume at the airport. In reality, the flights can be shorter or longer, especially if bad weather hits somewhere along the route. This would prompt course deviations or slowed flying speeds to space out aircraft more during the reduced visibility. Also, storms with lightening strikes at either airport could close the airport ramp area causing further delays.
