How long is the flight to Guam?
I am curious to know how long of a flight it is from raleigh north carolina to andersen afb in guam if for instance u had no long layovers

There is no possible way to not have layovers. Expect the journey to take 24 hours at minimum. Plan on two days. You will layover in Dallas and again in Hawaii. You have to do the island "hop." From Majuro, Kwadjelan (sp?), Truc, Kosrae and Ponape. Finally Guam. I fly Delta when I go back to my home. I believe it is one of the only airlines that go there.

Any flights to that area are long and tedious due to connections and no direct flights for obvious fueling reasons....my husband traveled in the area for business and even with the best airline planners, it wasn't a great trip to or from to CT. He would be traveling 20-30 hours to get to his destinations.

The total travel time can be anywhere from 21 Hours, if you go through Honolulu, and up to 39 Hours if you go through Japan. Also military flights are completely different then commercial flights, so if you're flying into Andersen directly that will be a completely different schedule.
